In a welcome return towards normalcy in the tournament waterski world the Moomba Masters will take place on the Yarra River in Melbourne, Australia starting in the 2nd week of March. With that in mind the TWBC Podcast took the opportunity to talk to Tournament Water Ski Australia chairman Grant Barnett about this event, along with other pertinent topics of interest: how to grow the sport, the effects of Covid-19 in the last two seasons in Australia, the 2022 class of the Australian Water Ski Hall-of-Fame and reaction to the recent decision by the IWWF to bar athletes from Russia and Belarus from competing in this event and others in the foreseeable future.
